Executive pitch

mokololaw.com updated its Privacy and Cookie Policies in July 2026, but they name only the back-office tools (Nextiva, Lawmatics, MyCase). Google Ads, two GA4 properties, two Tag Manager containers, CallRail call tracking, the Intaker chat, and YouTube all set cookies on every page with no consent banner, and Global Privacy Control is ignored. The Intaker chat shows no visible notice, even though the firm’s MyCase form already has the right one. The footer’s “Accessibility Statement” link goes to “#”, the copyright still says 2023, and axe found 185 accessibility failures on 4 pages.

2026 → 2027 exposure

Do now (2026): complete the Privacy and Cookie Policies; add a consent manager that honors GPC; add a notice to the Intaker chat; publish the accessibility statement the footer already promises; fix the WCAG 2.2 AA failures; disclose call tracking. Conditional: Texas TDPSA rights. 2027: a bilingual legal hub that matches the live tags, calls, and chat.

Executive key takeaway

The biggest risk: a recently updated policy that still leaves out every tracking and chat service actually running, while Google Ads, CallRail, and Intaker collect data from immigration and family-law visitors with no consent, and a footer link promises an accessibility statement that doesn’t exist. The full report unlocks the exact replacement language for all 4 critical and 3 warning findings, plus the 2027 roadmap item, along with the 8-step roadmap.

2026: July 2026 Privacy Policy names the firm’s back-office tools but none of the 8 tracking and chat services running on the site

2026 GAP
Privacy notice · Vendor disclosure · FTC Section 5 · Active 2026 finding
Current state (verified October 13, 2026 CT)
/privacy-policy/ is dated “Effective Date: July 27, 2026.” It lists “Trusted service providers may include: Nextiva (telephone and messaging) · Lawmatics (CRM and intake management) · MyCase (client management) · Payment processors · Website hosting providers” and only says it collects “Cookies and analytics data.” It does not name Google Ads (AW-11073653340), Google Analytics (G-3YJVC0DHVF, G-MPT8M7EQXQ), the two Google Tag Manager containers (GTM-WHP6P8P, GTM-5HSHSR7N), CallRail call tracking, the Intaker chat, or YouTube, all of which load on every page tested. The separate /cookie-policy/ (also July 27, 2026) mentions only “analytics tools such as Google Analytics” and says “You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.” The policy collects “Immigration or family law information you choose to share.”
Requirement
A privacy notice should match the tools actually running. A policy updated three months ago that names the CRM but leaves out ad tracking, call tracking, and a third-party chat that receives immigration and family-law details doesn’t tell visitors what really happens.
Exact language / corrective action that should be there
Add to “How We Share Information”: “Our website also uses: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure visits; Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our ads; CallRail, which shows a tracking phone number and may record calls for quality and marketing measurement; Intaker, a third-party chat service that receives what you type into the chat window and the page you came from; and YouTube video embeds. We do not use these tools to sell your information.” Cookie Policy: list each cookie (_ga, _gcl_au, calltrk_*, INTAKER_CHAT_WIDGET_*, YSC) with its purpose and a link to change your choices.
Recommended fix
Update both policies (English and Spanish), list every vendor and cookie, and re-date them.
